Life Sciences Awards 2017

Scotland’s Life Sciences Dinner & Annual Awards is a widely anticipated calendar event recognising the outstanding achievements of individuals, companies and research organisations with the Scottish life sciences sector over the previous twelve months.

Now in it’s 17th year, the event brings together 800 of the leading lights in the global life sciences community to celebrate success, to network and to do business.

High levels of expertise, a culture of innovation and research, and technology excellence all contribute to the continued success of the Scottish life sciences sector globally. The sector currently contributes £3.1billion to the Scottish economy with ambitious plans to double turnover to £6.2bn by 2020 through the Scottish Life Sciences Strategy.

Three pillars underpin the Scottish Life Sciences Strategy which was launched in 2005 and updated in 2011:
